Now that I am officially dinged from Yale, I sent the adcom an email requesting for a feedback. Yesterday, Yale replied back saying "We understand how important it is to understand your application’s shortcomings in order to improve your candidacy. However, after reviewing your file, there is no particular weakness I can point out. Overall the application you presented was strong, but other candidates simply presented a more compelling overall picture. I know it is frustrating not to have a specific point of feedback, but in your case, the decision was truly the result a highly competitive applicant pool and limited space."
So, I guess my 700+ GMAT score is okay. My work experience spanning 5+ yrs is okay. My recommendations were alright. My extra-curricular is not bad either.
I just need to make my profile unique. Now.. How do I do that?
It seems that Yale have dished out the same email to all those who requested for feedback - a friend of mine got the same email.
